My bachelorette party this weekend was a blast! I can't believe we have less than 3 months to the wedding, and that the fun is underway!
It was a day full of surprises, so I showed up with enough stuff for a week, haha. :)
We started out with canoeing at the arboretum, and thankfully the weather was gorgeous. We saw a bunch of ducks, geese, turtles, and 2 blue herons! It was the perfect start for this nature-loving bride.
After canoeing we dressed up a bit, and I got to wear an adorable "Bride to Be" sash that Bri made. From there we went wine tasting at Novelty Hill-Januik and Columbia in Woodinville. Novelty Hill-Januik is in an amazing modern building that I'd been dying to visit. And the wine wasn't bad either!
By then we had quite the appetites, and we made some delicious calzones. After that the girls gave me a ton of fun gifts (thank you so much!), and they decked me out in some crazy attire (gotta love that boa!) for a venture out to Claim Jumper. Debe won our "Bride Bachelorette Bingo" game by a landslide, and we had plenty of time for girl talk.
Most of the group was able to stay for a sleepover, which was a great chance for some extra time with my awesome and supportive friends. Special thanks to Dana for graciously offering her home - and to Blake for letting us kick him out!
We were too full after dessert at Claim Jumper, so we made chocolate fondue for breakfast! What more could a girl ask for?
Thank you Dana, Brianne, Kendra, Danielle, Debe, Joelle, Lisa, and Julie!
